Title: Woodland gnomes?
Post by: VoodooInk on 14 February 2011, 02:09:00 AM
Some time ago, a member of LAF posted some scans on his blog from a children's book. The pictures featured woodland creatures, giants, windmills, machines, dwellings, etc.

For the life of me, I can't find the post. :?

Help!

Was it Wil Huygen's (http://www.google.com/images?q=wil+huygen&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1366&bih=635) work?

He's done several books on woodland fey-type creatures...

No, not Wil Huygen. These other books had a similar style, but had quite a bit more detail as I recall. These scenes were a bit busier as well.

Thanks for the effort!

white knight:

No, I believe that Rien Poortvilet was the illustrator for the 'Gnomes' series of books by Will Huygen.

the 'Gnomes' series of books by Will Huygen.
I remember oogling the gnome boobage with my mates in preschool. Wee bit messed up, that.  ::)
