Title: Issues with PMs.
Post by: Galland on 16 February 2011, 11:37:41 AM
Ohoy!

I have some issues with the PM function. I seem to be getting the same message from one person, once every day. I am sure its the system that is faulty, and not the person that are sending them to be an asshat.

So, any suggestions regarding this small but anoying little propblem of mine?

It is indeed jimbibbly, hehe. I just got another message from you, my good man, and its the same as the others. The message I get is the first one you sent to me, and it keeps spamming every now and then. I have sent you a few messages, not sure if they have reached you or not.

However, I do need your adress and such, so I can send you the miniatures, since I accepted your offer the other day. Also, we need to figure out how you will pay for them. Try to send me a new PM or, if its allowed, answer in this thread since the PM function is a bit borked atm.

Ah I got the adress and such, will try to empty my inbox to see if that will fix stuff.

Right, it seems to be working now. I deleted the extra PMs and now its in some sort of order... I think :-P

I got the adress and will sort it today, when I get my act together and actually leave the appartment, hehe. I am a bit immobilized atm due to severe back problems, but I have to go to the apothecary anyway, so will get some help from my girlfriend to fix this.

This was a new one to me:

Asshat:
One who has their head up their ass. Thus wearing their ass as a hat.

Cheltenham's not a very 'asshat' sort of place though, more 'chapeau de derriere' I guess.

As does the Cheltenham College for Young Ladies, a prestigious horse race and a music festival where people dress up in Regency costumes, not Metallica t-shirts.

When you go there on the train, a very posh-sounding gentleman announces "Ladies and Gentlemen, we shall shortly be arriving in Cheltenham Spa." At the next stop after Cheltenham, they say "Glaaster Glaaster, this be Glaaster."

That's what it seemed like anyway one summer when I was living in Gloucester and working in Cheltenham.
