Here's the last of this pack though I need help with the photography. What changes would you make if your pics came out like these? Anything leap to mind that you would change immediately?

I have an old Olympus digital, I use the macro function, white balance on tungsten .. I'm missing something ... is it the blue background? It's foam sheeting with which to cut out shapes for kiddie projects.

It looks like a pretty clear photo to me- The only thing I might do differently is to take pictures of smaller groups from a lower angle to get a better idea of the detail. Only you will know if the colors are coming out "true", but the white balance looks correct from what I can tell.
