I've just got some Design 28 miniatures to start a Monster Hunter warband. They're great minis and arrived within a couple of days from when I placed my order. I'm really looking forward to getting these painted up.
Painted this one as a test piece. It's a Pinkerton Detective.

Heres a pic with an artizan mini for scale. Sorry if the pic's a bit blurry.

Nice work on those! We want to see more!

yes, we want to see more! Beautiful work!

That's three votes for more photos. The Pinkerton Agent is an especially well done mini.
-
Very nice, they blend in well together. :)

You did an excellent job with the shading of the black on both figures. Mine always seems to come out like grey lines. Whats your technique?
-
Both very nicely painted, with excellent blacks (as mentioned previously). Their scary zombie eyes are creepin' me out a little bit, though... :o

I've been eyeing up Design 28's wares recently and this thread has only incresed my resolve to get some. Great brush-work!

Again just a test piece to try dark blue/black for uniform.

Those are really good, congratulations!

Great miniatures beautifully painted. Look fantastic

Superb painting! :-*

WOW :o :-*
Want to see more!!!

Both very nice miniatures and a very nice paint job on them. I really like a policeman's coat.
-
Nice work. I don't know if it's intentional but I really like the creepy eyes.

Here's a couple of other minis from my collection that would fit into this section of the forum
Flesh Golem
(http://i381.photobucket.com/albums/oo254/Mrcastlesotr/SoTRII/PHILS2012.jpg)
Zombie Werewolf

I've posted these on other threads on the forum but thought I'd stick them in here too.
Cheers B.F. :)

Really nice paint-jobs there.
Well done.
The only thing that puzzles me would be the 'fluff' surrounding a 'zombie werewolf'. Nearly all movie related werewolves I have come across revert to the human form upon death. So how would it still be in the wolf form, to be animated as a zombie???
Other than that oddity - its a brilliant rendition in terms on scupted figure and paint!
-
Lovely work :D
-
Great stuff. I especially like the Westwind Vampire Master: he looks properly sinister.
-
Excellent work. Love the shading on the policeman.
-
Nice monsters. :)
Especially zombie werewolf.
Hope to see battle report with them sometime in the future.
-
Man, I love these! Dracula especially! What a great pose!
-
I love that flesh golem. Brilliant!!!
Where did he come from?
-
Reaper "flesh golem 02865"
-
Great stuff.
-
That undead werewolf... where is it from, please?
I absolutely love that Westwind Vampire. :)
-
Great work! The Master Vampire is definately my favourite.
-
Really cool figures, great painting. I look forward to seeing more.
Thanks.

@ Argonor
The zombie werewolf is from Reaper

@jscottbowman
The werewolf bit a zombie, passing the curse onto it. Since it was already dead, the zombie will turn into a zombie werewolf on full moons until it is "killed" again, with a silver bullet to the head. Then it turns into its original zombie form. ???
Makes sense to me.

Thanks, I don't remember having seen it before, but it would make a nice 'Monster Hunt' objective, mefinks ;D
