I like the bondage coat.... ;D

Lovin' the over all look. Nice and 'Pulp/Golden Age'. Just what I was looking for.

Yeah, that's the 'Hydra' symbol from the comics.

I noticed in a recent Avengers cartoon I was watching (the nephew was watching..well, hell I was too)

All Nazi references were replaced by Hydra.  More palatable I'm sure.

I think thats Hugo Weaving (unless its all CGI)

That actually looks quite good  :)

Hope the movie will be above average as well.

Criamon,
Thanks for posting the pic.
I like the look.

Me to.
I try not to get my hopes up, but this has so much poitential.
We'll just have to wait and see if Hollywood messes it up or not.

Yeah, as with all the modern comic book movies, it will all come down to the writing. Fingers remain crossed, and trying to keep expectations low.

Rest assured they have confirmed that the movie will have plenty of Nazis.

He was referring to the new Avengers cartoon, where WW2 was the Allies vs. Hydra.

(The cartoon itself is pretty good, I note. They play around with the background a lot, but the characters are good, and the writing is top notch. On course to be Marvel's version of DC's Justice League, which is high praise indeed.)

Of course replacing all signs of Nazis with the Hydra logo only works on the majority of people who don't know about the ties between the two.

Even taking HYDRA on its own you've still got the "Hail HYDRA!" shout, and Red Skull who has a "death's head"...etc.

The coat looks fine IMHO. Looks like something he would wear.

Indeed.  The costume and look are pretty sweet.  I like the overall look but especially the Hydra buckle and the red piping.  oh, and the skull that actually looks like a skull and not a latex halloween mask.

I think thats Hugo Weaving (unless its all CGI)

hmmmm. I guess with all the make-up/CG it's hard to tell.  I hope the Red Skull doesn't sound like Agent Smith (*Mr. Anderson*) but then again I kinda hoped they would cast Jürgen Prochnow.
