Title: Automatic scrolling in the text field when posting
Post by: phreedh on 08 March 2011, 02:43:06 PM
For some reason I (and a few other users... Galland and Thantsants off the top of my head) experience problems when composing long posts.

After a certain length, the text field automatically scrolls up one line so that the cursor is always out of sight.

I don't have the problem on OSX with Safari, only on Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. Shifting to Firefox helps, the problem does not manifest.

Edit: Oh, yeah - the post length needs to be twice the amount of rows of the edit box.

I know that problem all too well. Sorry, no idea yet, seems to be IE thing. Till we have a fix, just write your longer post in your word processing programm and copy and paste it here. I'll let you know as soon as I will find a fix.

Have it too, BUT it's also the case with other fora, so I don't think it is related to LAF in particular but it would be nice if it could be fixed.

Cheers,
