Yikes yaks! :o
Very good entry curadh
-
@Curadh: Very nice yaks and handlers!
@Andy: Nice idea on the game...who will have to buy the next round of drinks?!
-
So what are the rules of "tronknagelen"?

So what are the rules of "tronknagelen"?
You place a treetrunk in the middle and try to hammer a nail into it with as little strikes as you can. Only one hand is allowed to hold your "hitting device" (hammer, bat,...). Players take turns to hit one time and no aiming is allowed, ie the hammer (or other hitting thingie) needs to start next to the body for delivering the blow.
Not easy explaining this in english ... ;D
-
Basically you try to hit a nail all the way into a treetrunk as fast as possible, alternating turns. (one hit allowed per turn)
Last one to get the nail in buys the drinks! ;D

... or I could have said it like that yes lol

Glad to be of assisstance!
You struggle with words today...LPL overdose?!
:D
-
The tension is too much for me ... ;D
-
This may be the first time I've ever seen a tree trunk, all by itself on its own base. :) But then the LPL can be counted on to present some firsts.

Very nice idea for a civilian entry, excellent. The yaks are beautiiful too!
-
And now to plan a game with my treetrunk on a base in a central role! lol
-
Hahaha! How did you choose that theme Andy?! Also, we have that game here in Sweden as well, although I'd class it as "obscure".
Love the yaks!
-
Love the "jeu du clou" entry! Tough choice as I also like the yaks and the terrainpiece. :?
-
That's called making something with the models at your disposal ... in short: improvise! :D
We play that game here on carnivals and neighbourhood gatherings in our street. Very fun especially when there are some older men with a taste for beer who play too lol
-
I can't resist voting for yaks...
-
Beautiful, naturalistic tones on those yaks and handlers - a superb entry. Love the idea of tronknagelen too - it's the sort of game that people with too much time on their hands, and too much beer in the stomachs, would come up with. Wonderful!

Congrats Curadh, deserved win!
Good luck next round :)
