Title: Doc Savage's Doc Savage and other minis...
Post by: Doc Savage on March 17, 2011, 08:30:56 PM
Starting my first thread - have lurked here often and posted a few times... After a decade of inactivity, I recently finished painting a few figures for my Tannhauser custom characters.

Doc Savage - I made this Doc from 2 HeroClix and some wine bottle foil for his torn cloth. His upper body is from the Doc Samson figure and his legs are from the Criminal figure. I have the Pulp Figures Doc, but it is too small for Tannhauser or HeroScape. I really have a problems painting eyes - I used to be OK, now I just can't...

Pat Savage (Doc's cousin) is from the Reaper Chronoscope line as are the Indiana Jones figures that follow. Indy is sold as a kit with multiple heads and arms. I made one with the classic whip and the second with a machete. I added a whip made of very fine twisted wire to the waist of the machete version.

Very nice painting, Doc !

Tannhauser is a not only uchrony but can be played with a very pulp atmosphere
