Title: New LotOW Quick Ref/Summary sheets
Post by: admiraldick on 19 March 2011, 10:16:57 AM
i realise that LotOW isn't everyone's favourite system, but its the one that my gaming group plays and we really enjoy it. one thing we don't enjoy, however, is the lack of decent Quick Reference/Summary sheets for the game. flicking between several books can become a serious chore and makes a quick game become very slow.

so i've created two new summary sheets (both double sided) that you can download as a PDF from Scribd. the first has the normal game play summary and (more crucially) a complete weapons summary. no more having to scramble around looking for how a spanish sabre differs from a sword or where exactly the books say what a clubbed rifle does.

the second is a post game sheet, containing a summary of all the injury, experience and skills tables, as well as a complete trading post summary. if i have missed anything, or you think they need some revision, then feel free to let me know, i want them to be the most helpful resource for players they can be.

the Quick Ref sheets can be found here  (http://www.scribd.com/doc/51097860/LotOW-Quick-Ref-1-Game-Play)and here (http://www.scribd.com/doc/51098474/LotOW-Quick-Ref-2-Campaign-Play).

I think my group's pick-up games of LotOW are heading towards a proper campaign, so this is very timely. Thanks  :)

EDIT - not meaning to be a pest, but is there any way to get hold of these without signing up? I get so much automated email anyway...  :?

scribd is really good. i don't think i've ever had an e-mail from them, its totally free, there's loads of cool stuff on it and you can sign in using a FB account. but if you're really adversed to it PM me your e-mail address and i'll send them over.
