Wow awesome field hospital set-up! Even with scavenging dogs! :o
-
Haha Great dialogue Hammers lol. I am especially fond of the Sikh kicking the dogs away!
-
While both entries have nicely painted models, the field hospital just lifts the entire entry to a higher level
-
Those buckets are just yucky...great job! ;)
-
Have a woodbine lol lol lol
Cracking entry Hammers
-
The man with the dog is well hidden this time though, barely spotted the trademark Hammers figure.

That's the first thing I look for when I stumble upon the entry from Hammers! Love that gimmick ;)
-
I missed the man & dog first time through. The detail and those buckets grabbed all my attention.
-
Hammers, your entry is like a painting. I love the converted football-kicking-tommy.
-
Oh dear, I've been Hammer'd. ;)
Seriously awesome diorama setup, though! Just the hospital shed itself is awesome, the figures around them are fantastic. I especially like the football-Tommy converted into a dog-kicking Sikh.
My frontline command types are probably a bit miffed at being outdone by the rear-area Johnnies, though. :)
-
I feel sorry for Command on the Frontier. It's very good. But Hammers has out done himself, as usual.
-
Thanks you all for your kind comments. No one's noticed the coffins. I should have arranged them differently. They take their inspiration from 'Breaker Morant'.
-
I'm vaguely surprised to see that the Urdu/Punjabi/Hindi or Bengali version of mae da puta is not so dissimilar to the original.
-
Awesome entry , Hammers
-
Don't worry Hammers, the coffins didn't go unnoticed (or unappreciated)! I particularly like how the left side of the picture is like "yeah we'll try heal you" and the right is "we'll try but just don't make plans for next week." A great looking entry (by both!)
-
Great entries guys!
Love the Field Hospital :)
-
WL, hope to see your Frontier Command in action at Trumpeters Salute....
-
Hammers, that is a masterpiece! :o :-*
-
I Abstain!
@ Admins! We need a Tie botton! :( :D

A couple of these figures will be involved, actually.
If I have space, I'll try to remember to pack the rest as well for a bit of show-n-tell.
(Missed this comment in the rush last week, looking forward to seeing you at Trumpeter this weekend!)
-
Likewise! :)

Love the Piddlestain poster - shrunk down to fit on your hospital wall, you probably can't even tell it's a chimp!
I'd really like to see WiP or at least detail shots of your hospital, too. Looks like coffee stirstick plank walls and a fabric/canvas roof?

I already did that. Or didn't I...several months ago...? ???

Not that I recall, and not that I can find in a search of LAF, using both the in-house search engine and Google's site: filter.

I have the whole set of mock wwi cigarette trading cards in the series "A Monkey War to End All Monkey Wars". There is a orangoutan 'Gen. Willoughby H. Smellie', known, in the fluff blurb on the back, for the 'Smellie manouver'. Quite lovely. The artis is called Chet Phillips of www.chetart.com (http://www.chetart.com) :)

Pardon the shoddy focus on some of them. My camera an I are not on speaking terms for the moment.

First rate!
That was an awesome entry...
