Just a repost from TMP but I thought some of our Great War fans might like this:

Seems to be from a German film in production about Manfred von Richthofen. Whether it will be a good film or not I cannot say, but it sure looks pretty.

The last German-made war film I saw was about sailors in a submarine and their boots or something. It was pretty good, though.

Pete...you mean Das Boot. One of the most succesful movies made in Germany ever. Doesnt matter if you cant recall it... The Germans will remind you of it ...hehe
-
Looks really cool! Odd that it's an English language production though.
-
No doubt they're trying to make sure they get their money back, figuring that an English language production will do better worldwide.
Lena Heady, eh? I likes her.
-
Plynkes is right. The name Red Baron is a working horse overseas. They hope they get the money back
But it really looks good and Iam curious what the movie will bring.
Cheers

Pete...you mean Das Boot.

*The above emoticon belonged in my first post. I confess to the crime of bad humor that doesn't translate and bad emoticons. I love Das Boot.

Than you would have known !
