This is what I've been working on for the past month or two. Enjoy! CC welcome, naturally.

Nice review.
I must admit I'm one of those "you can't mix them" folks, but on second thought I agree that if you paint them up the same, it shouldn't make any difference.
Hmm...

Very useful range, especially the figures in civilian dress.

Lordy those Denizen miniatures are nice. I might have to procure a few handfuls...not even going to use them as USCM. ;) lol

manatic - That's one of the most useful posts I've seen in a while! Thanks for taking the time to review all those minis and to post those comparison pics. :o

Thanks Predatorpt, doing my best!

I hadn't realised how close in size the Denizen, First Corps and Hasslefree are :o 8)
I always remembered the Denizen as being tiny - almost like the GZG 25mm.
Will have to dig out the old samples I bought last century lol
-
Wow...didn't realize the em4 troopers looked so small next to their copplestone counterparts.

Well, do remember the EM-4 figure has his legs splayed and the Copplestone figure is upon an integral base. ;)

Even so, the Copplestone stuff is a bit taller and bulkier. See the head sizes, for example.

I should say that size differences doesn't bother me so much, but I do own them all and don't see too much a noticeable difference. In addition, some of the gear is pretty different between the two runs. A covered 'modern' helmet and the differently designed 'colonial marine' should be expected to see size difference, and make heads seem bigger. Copplestone's women are a lot chunkier now though. That is certainly a spot of agreement. lol

I had the exact same reaction to the picture. I would have sworn the Denizen figs were significantly too small to go with em4. I guess the difference is more due to sculpting style than figure height as such.
