Another close one!
Are the cavalry by Warlord?
-
Alone_withmyaxe - the cavalry are mostly Perrys - one or two have slight conversions.
Matakishi - that is a fantastic entry - I love the green of the uniforms and the bases are first class - what scale are the figures?
-
Wow the bases on the terrorists are out of this World.... :o But then I love the ECW period too.....another tough decision.
Cheers,
Blue

Fantastic! I am building an English ciil war army to use in WHFB as empire, these are great!
-
The terrorists are 28mm Britannia figures. They're small though because they represent Asians, the British are larger. The rifle bases are 60mm diameter if that helps with sizing them.
-
Again two great entries, guys.
Matakishi, those terrorists look great, the camo and the basing is wesome. Do you plan on gaming the Malayan Emergency?
-
Yes, I've painted all my CT forces and will be starting on the British, Gurkha and Malayan Police once the LPL is over.

Flow my tears... :'(
;)
(Use them as an English Civil War army instead! 8))

The Malayans are my favourite entry of this round. Brilliant.
-
The bases on both are as good as the painting! I really like the horses for the ECW entry.
-
Fabulous work on both 8)
Gotta go with the Maylayan terrorists though
-
Very good entries from both artists. Paul the MRLA are fantastic on those bases. Dave Howitt would be very happy. Well done with this entry.

Looking forward to seeing those and any AAR's of games you might play with them! 8) If you want a good read (although very theoretical), try Nagl's 'trying to eat soup with a knife'. It compares the American modus operandi in Vietnam with the British one in Malaya.
-
Can we have a tutorial on the bases for the Malayan CTs please? What did you use for the leaf litter?

It is aberrant isn't it, I like the game mechanics though.
I could at least use them as both?
:)

Yet another 2 classy entries
-
I'll do my best to do a tutorial on the bases when I base the British. They need to be done quite quickly so there's not much time to take photos and they're very stressful to do (for me) so photography is often not high on my priorities.
However, it may be useful for others to know, so I'll do my best.
Leaf litter and creepers are from Antenociti's Workshop.

The creepers don't seem to be on the site at the moment.
