Hi,
A couple days late in introducing myself -- my apologies. I've been a miniature gamer for more than 30 years. A big chunk of that was playing 15mm Ancients in the various iterations from WRG. Up until the last couple years, I considered myself an enthusiast of DBA Ancients. I've burn out on it for the most part, and play it only about a half dozen times a year, now.
My latest enthusiasm is in 25mm skirmish gaming, particularly using the Ganesha Games engine which began with Song of Blades and Heroes. I like the fact that each player's force is composed of less than a dozen figures, usually. It makes it much easier economically and time-wise to paint up forces and start playing.
In that vein, I do Dark Ages, post-Apocalyptic and am now painting forces for 17th/18th century Native American clashes. Next up is Pulp gaming, which I recently purchased a boatload (for me) of miniatures for.
I posted some pics of my native Americans on the boards earlier:

I definitely like the vibe of these pages, and the creativity of the posters boggles the mind...!

Next Drums At Fort Meigs is May 20-21...can't beat the site: Fort Meigs, a reconstructed War of 1812 stockade. Entry to the con includes free pass to wander the fort between your games.
