Title: The Nightmare Legion Revisited [PICS]

You may have seen my old and my new Nightmare Legion, here are some more pics of them skeletons 8)

The banner says:

The loose translation is "Perhaps someday we will look back upon these things with joy."

I merged my new Nightmare Legion with my existing one, added a skeleton commander which is sculpted (and painted) in the same style (the model is based on the standard bearer) for a total of 66 models arranged in six ranks of eleven:

I have 22 more legionnaires to paint if I'm not mistaken, I might get some more as I would really like to see this legion hit a hundred skeletons, time will tell.

Very nice.

I have 70 metal skellies (and lord knows how many plastics) of the old GW/Marauder lying around too. Going to fix them up some day.

Hi Pil, you just made my day with all this old school lovliness. The green looks really good, and the amount of work painting all those shields is amazing. Also really like the banners and nice change from skulls and crossbones; just an amazing army all around.
I am painting a unit of Grenadier skeletons at the moment, thanks for the inspiration.

Aren't there 6000 men in a legion though?!  ;) lol

Great work. The aqua and rust colour scheme give them a great look.  :o

Have you considered some of the 'differetn species' skellies from Terrain Warehouse?
