I'm just wandering through the joy which is another round of brill art in the latest round and can't help but think it would be really handy if folk declared which maker produced the figures supplied. It'd just save on the "Who made those?" replies... what do you think?

Good idea
-
I think that would be a great idea to add after the voting round.
-
It seems easy enough to respond if people want to know. I'm not sure we should add any more typing to what the good Captain has to do for each entry. I think we are pushing him hard enough. :D
-
Through out the LPLs people have always been asking what make entries are. You can go on doing that in the relevant thread, it's not against the rules or anything.
-
Good idea, only - with all due respect - I have no intention of adding to the already rather considerable workload by having to collect in advance and then sit there for hours collating and typing in a schedule of all the different figures used across 72 entries each week! ;)
I don't disagree with the sentiment. But not quite seeing a ready solution that doesn't involve a shedload of extra work for muggins ;)

I prefer the interaction with the artists. AND, there would be too much work for the admins too. :)

Perhaps the painters might just post a few words about their entry as each round goes live.

Most of the times I cannot really tell the companies apart. I'm more the "looks nice so I have it" person who doesn't care much for company names. I'm really very bad at remembering names. So I could reasonably guess a few of the manufacturers (in Fantasy it's a good guess that I have some Reaper mini along though there are others).

That could work, a little thing, as a post from the artist,
"I used__ -___ ___ and the scenery is ___ ___ -___" would be nice.
-
Aye, no more work for anyone. I do think me reposting the same question on many threads is just silly though.

Why not allow a slightly longer photo with the details in the last 2cm?
