Title: Italian Renaissance civilians ca. 1500- Any out there?
Post by: Dr Mathias on April 10, 2011, 06:28:38 PM
I'm on the hunt for Italian civilians, mid Renaissance (1475-1525 roughly). It seems like all I can find is Landsknechts. This isn't a period I do at all, so I have no idea what is available.
Thanks!

I would have though some of the Prof's new LAM citizens of Bruegelberg would be perfect...

Thanks for the reminder on those, for some reason I was thinking most of them were armed  :?

I certainly don't need much of an excuse to acquire the set!

Not to dissuade anyone from buying the excellent Bruegelburg figures, but I believe Mirliton also has some renaissance civilians:

It might also be worth checking their Medieval and Fantasy ranges as well.

We'll soonly have 4 sets for civilians. They are designed for Germany but should be useable for italy, too. http://progloriaminiatures.blogspot.com/

Thanks Heldrak, Mirlton have some unusual things, quite interesting.

Regulator, those figures sound great, I'll be looking forward to them.

I went ahead an ordered some Brueghelburg figures :)
