More D&D figs. This is a reaper giant skeleton. The dagger was replaced with a shield that was made from a steel disk and some greenstuff. The shield design is completely freehand.

Great conversion, painting backdrop and photography. :o

:o I would have sworn on the Holy Book of Futtumch that the shield design was a decal!
Fantastic work

I really like the great shield design and the extremely nice bone colour.

Great paint job, Neldo!

Ouch, I want the same!! All is really good. The shield is perfect : free hand must not be easy to realise at this size.

just "whoooooow"

Just a masterpiece...

My first reaction was "Wow! A Ray Harryhausen movie!" For some reason the way the minis look against that background looks exactly like one of his old movies.

The best part was when he put that Skeleton down on the table during our D&D game last night, especially since the dead miniature on the base bears a striking resemblance to one of our characters.
Luckily, we haven't met the beast. Yet....

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! Greatly appreciated! That freehand wasn't all that hard as far as freehand goes though, because the shield was actually pretty big :) Maybe one of these days I will do a tutorial on how I do it :)
Anyway, thanks again everyone!

Great job on the conversion. I always like a conversion that doesn't look like a conversion rather than the clearly obvious ones. Very nice painting as well.

... and that's a very good thing! I love those old animated movies. They aren't as slick or "believable" as modern CGI etc, but they have so much charm :)
