Title: Shaping Foam Terrain

Can anyone point me towards some 'beginners' tutorials for shaping the pink foam into terrain. I picked some up this afternoon and am eager to create some 'other-worldly' looking terrain, but I don't know where to start.

I've seen the tutorials on 'Creating Pulp Terrain' and the Black Keep, but I'm looking for something very basic to start with.
