Title: Arkham Art Work?
Post by: Scout_II on 22 April 2011, 05:32:36 AM
I'm currently on a consulting job away from my tools and stuff - and am looking for a project to occupy my down time.  I had been playing with doing an Arkham terrain set.  Since my on hand tools are limited to my lap top...I will likely be focused on doing a layout and follow that with building templates to be translated into actual terrain when I get back home this summer.

Anywho - what I am looking for is a list of sources for what is there and what it looks like so that I can have my wife grab the books off my shelves (or order them from Amazon) and ship them over here.  Right now I know for sure that I will want the "Arkham Unveiled" and "Miskatonic University" books from Chaosium.  I know there are others as well - but I can't recall which.

Also, if you can think of any other sources (online or in print) I would appreciate the names as well.

A quick hint of the project that I am thinking of is to start with the University area and work out from there.  Each "block" on the map will be planned for a 16x16 tile.  Certain areas would span multiple tiles (the athletic field for example).  28ish mm scale (compressed ground scale of course).

Both of those books come with maps for the area so that would seem to be a good start.  Chaosium has other source books for nearby towns (Kingsport etc) but I wouldn't think you would need those.  The included map of Arkham has a building layout .
