@ Groove51 - we have a thread on the VSF board called "Pimp my Kroot". Please do post a picture there and tell us how you made these minis.

Post by: Pil on April 25, 2011, 06:02:55 PM: I really like the first entry and Janner has been steadily pumping out great amounts of painted models this LPL, but I believe this is one of the first entries that shows the paint jobs well, and it looks good! I also like the Kroot but this time I voted for the impressive looks of a full regiment.

Post by: Mister Rab on April 25, 2011, 08:06:13 PM: Well, it has to be good ol' Sir John for me - his funerary brass is in my church! We've got a great window of him as well, done up in his Order of the Garter paraphenalia. I can attest to the accuracy of his arms as painted above :D

Tyranid ravaners lower bodies I think, the old metal ones tough I'm guessing, they are a lot sleeker and creapier then the new plastic ones.

You are right, the metal ones are better sculpted

didn't know they were available in plastic
good heavens, 27 quid for three plastic miniatures....
