Now that LPL round 6 is well-and-truly over, I thought that folks might like to see some individual pictures of my Empress "Movie" Zulu Brits.

Amusingly, I re-did Colour Sergeant Bourne's eyes four times, and of course you can't see them under his helmet in any of the photographs...
You only get four movie-related figures in the Empress Zulu pack, so I had to sub in another empress Sergeant from their regular Zulu range to make up the numbers.

Lovely work. The eyes are particularly well done, as are the flesh tones.

Thanks. Those are the things that I give the most time and attention to- It's nice to hear that it's paying off...! ;)

Very nice work, you have certainly done Paul's work on the characters justice.

Excellent! I would never dare closeups like that on my poor brushwork :'(

The eyes are certainly outstanding - as is the rest of your painting. Poorly painted eyes usually ruin a figure for me. They are often too big and look ridiculous, which is why I never bother trying to do them.
That your figures still look so good with those extreme close-ups shows how well they are painted :-*
It's a little bit of a shame that the Colour Sgt Bourne figure is probably the one that resembles the actor the least. He's my favourite character from the film, but even so is still a great figure.
A must-have set of figures for Zulu fans :D
