Lovely painting :-*
I'm not a fan of the clear bases myself, but of course it wasn't your choice in this instance... ;)

You excell at realism. Just love the look and the feel of these.

Just experimenting with the clear bases myself.

Lovely conversions and paintjobs...... actually the palette for the 2nd down is very similar to that I intend using for my own, so it's my favourite! :D

what pieces did you use for the male soldier?

I didn't do the conversion work but I'm pretty sure Jeremy has used Zombie Hunter Kev http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=2256 but swapped the head for a GW Sentinel pilot. He has also added the rucksack from greenstuff.

Very tidy work :)

top and bottom are new from Antenociti (and as such are not on the website as yet but were available at Salute so email Jed for release info) the one in the middle is a Fire Wasp from grey matter figures

Lovely work on those figures. That's the sort of camo that would work well in both verdant and arid conditions. Great "lived-in" look to their kit and I especially like the way you've done the goggles.
Any chance of a tutorial or two?
I'm not totally convinced on clear bases - they have obvious advantages when your playing in multiple terrains, but they look a bit too artificial to me in most pics. Maybe they look better at first-hand :?
Worth thinking about for some of my stuff though :)

"Any chance of a tutorial or two?"
Always - anything in particular? I did a tutorial on camo a while back and links to the posts on FOD can be found on my blog, somewhere. I'll go look. Goggles are simply painted Vallejo orange brown and highlighted by adding yellow ochre to the base colour leaving the darkest area in the centre (looks like eyes though the lens - hopefully) and then given a coat of Vallejo clear orange.
ah, found it...

Thanks! That's just what I was after - both camo and visor colours. I didn't realise you'd already posted the camo details on the FOD.
It's been far too long since I last visited ::)
