Hi :)
 I was looking for some information on the volksmarine for the packs below
I have the
The German Freikorps 1918-23 (Elite)
German Uniforms,insignia & Equipment 1918-1923
sem 9 - volksmarines standing and shooting, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 10 - volksmarines advancing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 11 - volksmarine command and support, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
is the any other good book etc on the volksmarines uniforms

Wow! been waiting for those, but they are not visible on the Scheltrum website? Is there any pictures on the web somewhere?
BTW I have the same books as you and have not found any better  :'(

Scheltrum this year our major release is a range of figures and vehicles in 28mm for the German November Revolution.

The initial models that we should have for Salute, caster dependent, will be as follows:

sem 1 - armed workers in shirt sleeves, shooting and standing. set of 4. £5.50 GBP.
sem 2 - armed workers in shirt sleeves, advancing. set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 3 - armed workers in jackets, shooting and standing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 4 - armed workers in jackets, advancing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 5 - armed workers support set1, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 7 - sparticists in civillian coats, standing and shooting, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 9 - volksmarines standing and shooting, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 10 - volksmarines advancing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 11 - volksmarine command and support, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 13 - red army of the Ruhr, shooting and standing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP
sem 14 - red army of the Ruhr, advancing, set of 4. £5.50 GBP

We also hope to have the following vehicles:

sev1 - 'Hedi'. improvised tank. £25.00 GBP
sev2 - krupp/daimler armoured flack wagon £22.50 GBP
sev3 - daimler marrienfeld truck (truck or 1/2 track) £20.00 GBP
sev4 - erdhart e-v/4 armoured car. £17.50 GBP
sev5 - russo-balt armoured car £17.50 GBP
sev6 - russo-balt armoured flack wagon £20.00 GBP
sev7 - russo-balt flack wagon
sev8 french white armoures car £17.50 GBP

Oh, and barricades to defend:

ub1 - set of 5 assorted models (80mm long each). £15.00 GBP

Stocks will be limited, so please come early or pre-order.

There are also some new releases for the Lord of the Isles and Medieval ranges, with mounted raiders in aketon and mail, mounted unarmored infantry and archers, and men at arms in partial plate.

some years back I painted the Brigade Games german sailors as Volksmarine. Historical German navy blue with some red armbands.

Might be the angle of the photo but I fear the Scheltrum sculptor has seriously underestimated the length of the barrel of the MG08/15.

Does anybody know any good german books with lots of great colour pictures ?
books in english are not great, need more information
