Wow, two stunning entries! Lidless Eye, I really like the house and the car, they fit the models perfectly and it makes for a very beautiful setup. Prof., I think this is some of your finest scenery yet. Your paint job on those models is fantastic as ever, but I'm afraid I'm just not into comic books that much.

Nice Guys! Lidlesseye I love that car! I would like to see more of it and how you did it.

Some of my very first sculpts! :o
Great painting, Alex!
What is also true for the bootlegger's hideout, exspecially the car ...

True enough, the house and car in the first entry are superb - is the house scratch-built, or bought? If it's scratchbuilt, can you give us a rundown on how the details were done, but if it's bought, where did you get it?
And Prof - beautiful painting, great depth of colour, and I love the bridge - it's the perfect backdrop!

Haven't seen those Asterix pirates (or Gauls, Britons or Romans for the matter of fact) in a very long time. Bring back lots of wonderful memories. Thanks Alex :D Such a petty that no one picked up those lines after Metal Magic :? Sure there would still have been a market for them.
And of course: "Awesome job, both of you".

Hey, Proff,
Do those pirates know of Groo the Wander?
They look like he just blew through there.

The house is an Atlas 'O' Scale kit (http://www.atlastrainman.com/Structures/tmostructures.htm (http://www.atlastrainman.com/Structures/tmostructures.htm)) with a particularly grungy paint job. The car is a repainted die-cast I borrowed from Uncle Mike's vast collection of scenery, so any questions about the refinishing job will have to be directed his way.

Thanks, Lidless Eye - the house looks fantastic, and it seems to be scaled perfectly. I'll be looking into getting one!
Nice job on the bootleggers too - Copplestone Gangsters, right? I have a bunch myself that are waiting for paint....
