The day and battlefield were both very interesting the guided tour was excellent and the re enactors both informative and entertaining Im sure DaveP and his colleagues enjoyed it too.

Nice, must get to Tewkesbury this year. Only up the road, but I have never been.................. :'(

Nice photos. I'd love to get to Towton at some point.
Do go to Tewkesbury - it's fabulous. I've taken part several times and enjoyed it thoroughly. If you do go, wave at the shiny chaps for me as I can't make it this year to (try to!) smite them :'(

Can't be Towton, there's no snow ;)
Nice to see the gear in use though - especially the weapons and armour.
The clothing does all look terribly neat and clean though ::)
But thanks for sharing.

You'd be surprised on how protective people can be on about their war clothes. We have a few in our regiment that get their fighting kit DRYCLEANED after every battle ::)
I only think about showing it water when it starts to walk lol
cheers

Water? That's keen! Surely a quick spray with Febreeze is enough? ;) lol
