Title: Fire Wasp...
Post by: dwartist on 08 May 2011, 11:32:07 PM: Basic painting finished. I have to convert, paint and add the crew figure(s) before finishing the detail painting and a final 'dusting' with pigments.

This is the original one (you, of all people, know how slow I am lol). And, yes, got the email and wrote a long, meandering reply but the internet went down as I was about to send. I'm off today so will get around to it again later.

The vehicle itself, doesn't really do anything for me...I can't put my finger on it but there is just something that doesn't click.

My modifications maybe? I don't particularly like the wheels now. The newly re-released Fire Wasps have solid resin wheels as opposed to the ill-fitting rubber tyres that came with the original release - the reason i swapped them for space marine bike wheels.
