So there we were.... Along the bank of the Trout River in Jacksonville, FL. I had taken the kids down there for a bit of rest and relaxation. Wouldn't you know it, our nice quiet hike was disturbed by some big ol' dinosaurs!!!

The Jacksonville zoo has a DinoAlive exhibit with a bunch of animatronic dinos. Pretty neat. It was cool to see them set up kind of as if they were in their natural environment. The kids and I enjoyed it, and the rest of the zoo as well.

Cool place :)

I'm pretty sure we'll never have anything like that in Germany for fear of violating the rights of animated creatures or some other stuff like that. Too bad because the photos sure look great!

We have one in Wales not too far away. Dinosaurs in the woods, brilliant.
Took the kids a few times, but I think I enjoyed it even more than they did, lol

I bet that was a lot better than the static lizards we have over thissaway. :)
