Any tricks behind the painting? The Iron Crosses and the white field they're on look superb, a very realistic worn effect! Freehand or decals for those?

The white field is painted on & the crosses are decals, i just kept dotting white on the crosses & green on the background till i liked the look of it, nothing amazing really :)

Love it - great painting 8) 8) - Love the model -not heard of Tobsen before but now have them bookmarked
Can see one of these giving my WWI germans a bit more firepower without the need for an overpowering A7V
