Breakthrough scenario, 1325pts. Not completely "legal" army builds but the main point was to try out the Early War stuff and units. This was my first early war FoW game, and my opponents 2nd IIRC. We had a great time though and I really like the game so far. I actually liked the game better with the Early War units than mid/late war that I had tried out before.
It feels differently, hard to put a finger on it but – a bit more realistic maybe? The battle was quite balanced, my opponents Sdkfz231 cars scared the living crap out of my 7TP tank Platoons.
I learned a lot about my Polish units, and don't think I played all that bad (being the armchair general having read the rules and thought a lot about how things would go down haha).
Check the summed up battle report and all 45 pictures on my blog. Sorry in advance for the battle report and pictures both – not the best product but the light down at the club today was sh.. and I was more focused on the battle than taking notes.
Better Flames of War AAR's in the future though.

Allways fun to read a Fow battle report.

Are the eagles objective markers? What an interesting idea! I may have to borrow it from you...

Yep those are 50mm round objective markers with the Polish army eagle badge sculpted on them. I got them from Army Group North Miniatures - though they still doesn't seem to be in the catalogue for some reason. I have 4 Polish and 2 German objectives which is enough for pretty much all FoW scenarios :)
They are good to use as objective markers, but I also used the 2 left over markers to indicate where my reinforcements would enter near the table edges :)
You can check out more pictures of those in WIP and painted state as well as a painting tutorial on my blog:

I think we all need to hassle AGN for the release of these markers into the catalogue, I think they would be selling heaps :D
