I was lucky to get one of these at Salute - check Mike and Ali's blog for news of general release.

I've been a little prudish and sculpted a vest to cover her....embarassment

A beautifully detailed and proportioned model, though I'm sure there will be those here who will curse you for your tasteful conversion lol
Something else to look forward to seeing finished :D

Ooh! I've just read they are going to Triples. So am I along with my wallet. Should be an expensive day - Hasslefree (http://and) McVey :'(

She's very nice and would suite my Colonial Marines project.... how does she compare in size to your (vast?) Hasslefree collection? I'd probably ...... reluctantly.....have added the vest as well. Looking forward to seeing her painted.

Much bigger I'm afraid - same size as the original Kara. I will get around to doing some comparison pics soon (ish)

Thanks D. Don't worry about comparison pics on my account, I accept (and appreciate) your view. :)

Would have bought her today at Triples (no. 14 in the limited run!), but sadly too expensive. I compromised and bought the original version as painted by you elsewhere on this site. Sorry to contradict you David, but Kara is actually not that much bigger than the HFs. I know she is in a crouched fighting stance, but to me her size and "build" are close enough to be compatible on the table. I'll definitely use them together :)

No apology necessary, GM, - your pic is of Captain Kara - this is a limited edition Lt. Kara (a slight variation on the original) and is bigger. I will do some comparisons tomorrow night.

Ok thanks, that would be good!

Don't apologise for such eyecandy ;D

And very useful too! Capt Kara does look a lot bigger than the HF here and Lt K is massive! :o
I really must get some Pig Irons!

Wowzer! ;D
