Not done a dwarf for a while and enjoyed doing this. Went together really easy and I didnt have to use any filler at all, just superglue. Only spent 90 minutes on him but I can see now that I need to neaten a few bits up like his shoe ::)

I need to make a miniature line, too. Everybody else is doing it lol
Nice work for 1½ hour. I wish I could paint as speedily as that.

Excellent job and good to hear it went together without pinning and putty! :)
-
Nice brushwork, are the feet as big as they look in your piccy? ???
-
I like it. :)
...Only spent 90 minutes on him but...
I just spent that much time cleaning/prepping four figures. ::)

Does this help to clarify the issue?

Nice stuff Svenn! I need to get my shit together and have you paint up a batch of minis for me soon. =)
-
I do love these dwarves but have to wait for the cavalry as I can't justify any more infantry...... :'(
-
WK,sort of!
Feet on painted fella look particularly big for some reason? ???
-
Maybe because it looks like the picture was taken with a groundlevel shot?
(Though they do have biggish feet of course, in the old marauder style).
-
Liking them, probably is the photo level shot as you say.
-
Wow Svennn, looks fantastic. Great choice of colours and beautifully painted. Hope well be see much more of these WK/Pickford beauties from you, soon.

Another quickie, I like this one best so far although a lot of the shading is lost in the photos

Me too

You're using both old dwarfs and my favourite cross pattern colour combo!
I call it unfair! lol
Very nice work. I have (or had) a few halflings that would have been looking right in place next to these guys. Cross was the other way around though.
-
More great vibrant colours (though for some reason, the second one is my favourite) (I think it's the armour) ;)
-

They're not old, but brand new "faux" old. ;)
-
The third one is great, but I also do prefer the second one - and I don't 'think' it's the armour, I 'know' ;)
-
If Svenn sends me all three after examining them in fine detail for a few years I'll let you know which is truly the best! :D
-
Awesome work on these! :-*

Last one for now

Boooh this is just becoming annoying.
Oh well.. I could just quote my earlier replies. ;)

Nothing darling - everything is dandy. It was sort of a compliment.
Keep up your very fine work (even though I wish it was all mine... MIIIINE!)!
lol
-
Sorry I'm late, they are lovely, maybe even peachy :D ;)
-
VERY WELL DONE! The Little Landsknechts have the individualistic look that I associate with Renaissance soldiery...something Hapsburg Emperors & G.W. would disapprove of.
-
These are absolutely fantastic. A great range (Dwarfs have always been my favourites) and a great painter. Congrats to both on such fine work. Now, along with those Occulites I am going to have to get some of these beardy fellows (how many combos in all?). Ooh, my poor wallet.

and one of the yet to be released goblins.

Painting a couple of them myself, though it will still be a while. :)
-
Wonderful gobbo!
Is that a 20mm base?
-
It should be.
Wait, does this mean Svennn overcame his deeprooted hatred for slottabases? lol
-
Citadel 20mm x 20mm plastic base of 1980's vintage.
I do loathe them but thought as well as getting a more old school look it would be more saleable ;)
-
oooh! Those gobbo's are bery nice too.
