Hey
Just a short one. Does anyone know where I can get pickelhelmed heads on their own? I just need a fair few for some conversions.
thanks
marx.

West Wind makes such a thing but the heads have gas masks on.

Thanks. I Know about the ones with the gasmasks, but Im after ones wearing, at most, a moustashe or nice beard. Given that such an object would be usefull to everyone from VSF though Steampunk to The Great War I just assume that there are some somewhere.
Thanks

This may be an ideal item for Lead Adventure Miniatures to make, especially given the quality of these:

They would indeed be very useful for many conversion projects. How about it , Professor?

Any pics of the greens?

basically, when I first did the Helion range (the first range, not the recent range) we did several variants of seperate heads in Picklehaubs , caps and one bearheaded .
I have sent some of these off to the moulders along with 1 that I have put a gasmask on
When they come back I will post a pic, meantime if you can find pics of the old Helions, you will see how they look

Ah, I see.
I have seen - and really like - the Helion Prussians, but sadly never got around to buying any.
Sorry, didn't realise you did the Helion stuff ::)

bear in mind that this was the first Helion range, not the more recent one( which has also failed to be commercially viable)
I will try to get some pics of the basic infantry posted soon......I am working on new figures using the same dollies which will have much lighter equipment and possibly a little more VSF look about them
