Title: PanzerMechs & Hedgrows: A NUTS! War Without End BATREP
Post by: SBMiniaturesGuy on 04 June 2011, 07:39:24 PM
Howdy All,
Here's the battle report for the NUTS! War Without End game demo'd at KublaCon. We had 7 players in all at one point, with people pushing lead and having fun. I hope you enjoy the BATREP!

LOL! Let us say the player was a bit cautious, while the guy running Sgt Steel was bold.

Thanks! I'm working on US and German rocket troops and robots now. Oh, and zombies -- I think I'll need more zombies. I need to experiment with a new type of zombie in the War Without End book -- Spore Zombies. Nasty, based on reading about a fungus that takes over a type of ant in SE Asia and drives it until the ant dies in a puff of spores, hoping to infect another ant. Now take Unit 751, add the appropriate amount of wierdness and you have a nasty new zombie for your games.

Hopefully by Historicon. The final draft has been sent to Ed at Two Hour Wargames, so now it's up to his editorial schedule. I know the cover art is done, though.

Hi,
Yes I do. I've got prototypes through my involvement with Gears & Guts. I'm hoping the first walkers, the General Early and the Valkyrie (plus accessories, stowage, crew, decals, etc.) will be available by Historicon. Brent at Company B is working with JTFM to produce the models, they are really good quality. You can follow us on the Company B site and on Facebook:

We have a pretty good product line up planned that also includes the British Cavalier and the Italian LC1/40 (so you can take your Weird War to North Africa), more vehicle accessories like AA mounts, the Japanese ShiKi, weapons sets like the X-7 infantry ATGM launcher and others.
