From ebay, Horrorclix i think. Added some tentacles with green stuff. In Lovecraftian Storys Shoggoths are black, but this is not easy to paint!! :?

Yes, the tar-like skin is hard to paint. I'm trying the same right now on my shoggoth (it's from D&D collectible miniatures).
I used green and brown washes (Vallejo) and mixed them with black. It dont really look exactly like tar but the effect is good enough for my opinion ::)
The agents are cool. Are these Dixxon Miniatures?
And the scenery you build is fantastic!
