This is my zombie campaign. A mother and three girls will turn every rock, search every building to find their father who is missing.

Very cool! I like very much emotion-drive games, and the mother-and-kids-looking-for-dad thing seems very original!
(and since they're Hassllefree grils, I'm pretty sure they're up to kick butt!) ;)
Plase keep us informed!
-
Lovely! My sons are very much into the un-dead genre and are just beginning to grasp the joy of campaigns! This will be good inspiration for their next convention game.
-
Are the paper houses from Dave Graffam, please?
-
Nope.
The buildings that your're talking about are the old west buildings?
Those are from the whitewash city.
The other buildings are free in the internet, but I don't know from where at this moment. I built them long time ago. But if you tell me what buildings you're interested in, I can look for the links.
-
It's the ones in the header of the page - brick buildings with windows.
-
Those are the ones I downloaded from internet some years ago.
They are free. But where did I get them?...
I'll try to find out and I'll post a link here.
-
Thanks - I like them. And cannot afford much resin these days. :)
-
Me too. I love resin, but space to store and $$ are running low.
Paper buildings are a good choice. There are some very good ones.
Build them in a good solid base and give the base a good finish and it will look very well over the table.
-
I've built some Worldworks and MicroTactix stuff for modern urban fights - mostly used for Fear and Faith Zed-games so far, but also for an FL shootout between some mercs and some very militant soiled doves (quite Sin City, come to think of it).
It's not perfect, but it does the job at a diminutive percentage of the cost associated with the same amount of solid buildings.
Really, it all comes down to getting those figs on the table, and not be bugged down by financial obstacles.
Looking forward to see some action from your campaign :)
-
I totally agree with you.
Play first, try to do it with painted minis and use whatever you find to make the field. You'll get better buildings and scenery as time goes by.
And now for the girls stats presentation:

I hope you like it! Any comments are welcome.

Great AAR.
I very much liked the narrative along with the pics.
Can't wait to see more.
Thanks

Really, it all comes down to getting those figs on the table, and not be bugged down by financial obstacles.
That's the spirit!
I'm actually building some scenery stuff for a modern setting using only scraps of foam and paper that I find in trash cans on my way back from work late at night! ;)
That's why I'm thinking of calling my cantina/saloon "THE DUMPSTER DIVER"

Hei Dinohunterpoa:
I'd like to see that.
-
Not a huge fan of Zombie games, most anyone who has RPG'ed with me is always amazed how ruthless my character becomes in the presence of Undead - not role playing but for some odd reason the whole concept totally creeps me out as a real life person and I reflect that in my game play I guess.
That aside, that is a tremendous story line, gets the attention (and the support) of the reader right away and established both the base personality of the characters and possible changes ahead for the individual characters. I may well follow this story line to see where it goes. Nice work on the write up!
Gracias,
Glenn

Thank you very much, Glenn.
That will make me go on doing it.

Hei Dinohunterpoa:
I'd like to see that.
I'll post some pictures as soon as it's done...
I liked very much your characters and game report, KEEP GOING and please keep us informed as well! :)

VERY DRAMATIC!
That Jack London's quote is quite perfect!
And I also liked very much the way you used plastic minis and paper terrain! Keep going!
:)
-
Thanks.
I'll keep posting the story.
-
This looks like a really great game. I might have to borrow the scenario to use myself.
-
Be my guest and have fun.
That's the whole idea.

Quick question, Bayushiseni (or for anyone who can answer it).
I've got the "Fear & Faith" rules and have used them for zombie games. What is the difference between them and "Flying Lead"?
-
Both are good for it. Both are quite nice to use with zombies. Main difference: One, FF, is "mythical" in its approach. You can play games of horror and creatures of "pulp" horror. Weapons are easier to use as they are special abilities like other special abilities Flying lead is more realistic. I use FL because I want to capture the Zombie menace in a realistic environment. In FL weapons are more lethal, they have rules on their own and there are more weapon possibilities, but fighting HtH with the zombies is also more difficult.
But it's really a question of taste.
I hope I have answered your question.

Looking for Dad just gained another character. It had to be. It was beyond my control as you'll see. The world keep falling down to darkness and despair. Have fun.

Very nice! The "Game Notes" is priceless! ;)
I've said Hasslefree girls are meant to kick butt! I am planning a campaign set in a modern world featuring the 4 girls form the "Femme Fatales" boxed set. You know, that old thing about saving the world against werewolf bikers and hordes of zombies.. all before dinner time! 8)
-
Thanks, Dinohunterpoa!
I'll try to have her painted tomorrow. Then I'll show her off.
-
Lovely AARs Bayushiseni.
Hope to see auntie join the girls efforts asap.
Thanks for sharing.
-
Thanks Magokiron.
I'll put her to action very soon.
