Heya all!
It's been a while since I painted anything post-apo but last evening Jason left my paint station - it's one of 11 savages I am fielding as Necromunda gangers.
Hope you like it and hope to paint some more soon - we're preparing the campaign so minis must look nice while gaining experience points ;D

Excellent. Really like the skin tones, and the way that blonde hair pops out!
-
Thanks but hair should be orange :(
Whole gang will get dyed hair ;)
-
Last evening I painted another one - this time medic for the gang.
Unfortunately I don't think I can finish remaining 6 for Friday night game... :(

Cool paint jobs.
The white armour on the medic looks great.
-
top banana sir :D
-
Great work on both! How did you get a medic in Necromunda, are you just hoping for the medic skill? :)
-
Cheers LAFers :D
@Cheetor: bright armour is surely striking compared to the rest of the gang but apparently I screwed the pics - armour was hit with blue glaze - no idea why there's no blue hue on the photo ???
@Pil: I meant medic 8)
I don't think anyone of you want to hear long and boring story of our basement gaming but it ends like this:
we're back into post-apo gaming and decided to either make up or modify existing game rules to make battles more hard and demanding. We are now working on our Necromunda version and we decided to add medic option:
Medic has ganger stats, costs 60 credits (like heavy), takes a heavy slot, can be armed only with pistols and melee weapons and gives you re-roll on the injuries roll during game (if it's close to the wounded of course) and in post battle sequence.
-
More coolness!
And the ORANGE hair really pops!

This is the stuff I like to hear. The rules sound good and it's a nice alternative to a heavy for close combat oriented gangs :)
-
Yeah, it's pretty balanced for me as well - although last night there was no medic on the table but we tested hardcore mode of Necromunda game - converting d6 into 3d6 makes shooting much more fun ;D
Btw - the group shot of the gang from last night gaming: 6 more left to be painted:

Nice gang! I was not likeing the hair but it works great as a mass effect.Kudos!

Same here - at first I was pretty sure the final effect will be crap but all in all it's ok :)
There's a drawback though: the medic became just one big bullet magnet lol
-
Nice little band, Demi! :) I like their orange theme quite a lot now that I see them together. As for the medic... That's the problem with paramilitaries. :) No hair discipline! :)
-
It's little only until I finish remaining 6! Mr Copplestone was so nice to release 11 savages ;D
And as for paramedic and discipline issue - let's just say last night he got what he deserved while trying to sneak to the enemy shooter >:(
-
Nice work! I've always liked Copplestone's sculpts, your paintjob is quite nice.
-
The family has grown - 2 more to finish them all :)
I am going off to battle atm so wish me luck - hope painted gang will fight much better than just basecoated ;D

Nice work.
-
Excellent gang. Really fantastic paint jobs, and I love how they all tie together or feel as part of a whole.
-
I like them very much, clever choice of colors.
-
Nice paint jobs. And nice to finally see what that gang of gingers, The Red Mist, from Ideal actually look like (UK referance). ;)
-
Cheers all!

Yeah, I am also happy they look fine as group rather than bunch of dyed retards ;D

There's a chance sooner or later I will take care of LAF soliders squad - we already have them and they just beg for some paint ;)

"The Red mist do exist... and they are ginger" lol
-
Fabulous gang! I really like your variety in skin tones, only the underhive scum really stands out with a different skin tone, no orange hair and being from another model range. Though of course that may be intentional as it's a hired gun 8)
-
Thanks!
Scummer was painted several years ago - I had no idea for overall color scheme for my Necro-minis that time. But I am happy it stands out like that - it's clear he's not part of the gang but just a mecenary ;)
-
i love them! now ill have to go get them. thanks:)

very looking forward to see them :)
-
wow, really love them! great job, i evny your skill!

The dyed bastards are nearly done: I have to add a plaque on the base and I can start another gang! ;D

Lovely figures, nice base but seriously lacking in post apoc rusty bits, shoguned road sign, wreckage etc...
;)
-
Hmmm - good point:
I might add a sign in the back later - right now I am trying some poor victim who will take nice pics of it ^^
Thanks for feedback!

Very nice. You've obviously been to that quarry in Wales. ;)
-
Quarry?
Naaah - it's 40k millenium grassland! :D
-
Very nice work, though I agree that the base is a bit bland 8)
-
HA! :D

Tut is also on the way... 8)
-
Beautiful painting and great concept. What do you mean when you say that you've converted d6 into 3d6?
-
yeah, i want the tut too! (which is not a train)

Well we took a break from Warmachine and came back down to the Underhive about May (after several years spent on the surface ;) ).
We decided we wanted better ruleset than straight from the rulebook (which aren't very exciting actually) so game after game we were adding new stuff to make gaming more demanding and cool - especially after few beers lol
One of mods was changing range attack d6 rolls into 3d6 - it's more-less like: old 4+ to hit on d6 is now 11 or 12+ on 3d6 (forgot exact number). More dices adds elment of statistic to the game. And of course we also had to change to-hit modifiers to fit new rules better.
-
Just love it.
How'd you build that display base?
-
Just wait for the tutorial on my bloggy (http://plinthcountry.com/blog)... ;)

Happily waiting!
(hurry the heck up!)

Very nice work. I think the base looks good; blasted and barren. Nice
