Well, having assembled my new game 6x10 game table in my garage, it's time to make the game matt for it. The base material is an old painting canvas, ripped out the seam and will use the brush-able caulking to "glue" the seam back together, but much flatter than the sewn version was.

Yep, that's a yard stick on the canvas for scale comparison :)
Also in the process of stretching and ironing it a bit flatter. Once the dyed brush-able caulking is applied and dries, the weight will flatten it out nicely.... *crosses fingers*

The possibilities are endless!

The matt has received its base color coat prior to the colored Kel Seal and Flocking procedure.

Er, the new 32" flat screen TV arrived to be installed in my Hobby room, put a slight delay on progress, that and I need about 10 bags of flocking, I have the gallon of Kel Seal and plenty of green paint to tint it.... oh, and a friend schecdualed a BBQ mega game for this sunday which will have around 15,000 pts (Martian Empires) blasting each other, so I kick off the surfacing monday.
