Hello. My name is Scott Reed. I stumbled onto this site last night and knew instantly I wanted to join. I am an avid STAR WARS collector and have been collecting since 1978. I have painted hundreds of STAR WARS miniatures and have done quite a bit of customizing as well. You can see a few here:

Thanks for such an incredible site.

Thanks guys. I need to take a whole bunch more pics. I've painted every single WEG STAR WARS miniature, from the Heroes of the Rebellion boxed set all the way through to the Darkstryder Crew #3. I've also repainted a ton of the WOTC miniatures, I repainted all of Rebel Storm, Clone Strike, Revenge of the Sith, and Universe. I even painted all 20 of the metal STAR WARS miniatures that WOTC put out before they launched their plastic line. Not to mention the 160 or so miniatures that are customized, several being complete Super Sculpey and Apoxie Sculpt creations.

Welcome to LAF. Have you ever seen the old Archive Miniatures range that was released just after the first film? Lucas' lawyers jumped on them very quickly so they were pulled but then re-released into the Star Rovers line with additions to hide their true nature......Darth Vader with horns, Stormtroopers with rabbit ears......great stuff!
If you look through the Lost Minis page you'll see quite a few of them including the cantina band.

The infamous 'Duck Wader and Rabbit Troopers' are available again here;

Yes I've seen all of those miniatures on the STAR WARS Collector's Archive. Nabrun Leids is awesome. Some of the Heritage lead miniatures show up on ebay with some regularity. The only one I ever had was the Bantha.
Don't worry, I hate that retarded Gungan as much as the next guy. I'm more of an original trilogy fan myself.
