Title: Bolt Action plastic Commandos, appropriate for what stage of the war & theatres?

Hello chaps, I'll preface this by saying I'm sure there'd be a thread, but I sure couldn't find it.

What timeframe have I got to use the models in? Pretty keen for a bit of more historical SoTR action. They look a lot like invasion of France commandos, but I've got little idea.
