A couple Darkson Designs Hell Hounds.
They were good fun to paint! Just the right ratio of detail to open area for a natural beast, at least for my preferences.

Creepy lil puppies!

Just getting into AE-WWII, so missed these earlier, but I thought I should comment as I like them a lot - very icky! Nicely done.

Nice painting, the skin looks scary... ;)

Wow. Very creepy. Great job.
I frequent your blog a lot as well. You've done some great stuff.

Awesome work :)

VERY WELL DONE! I love the eyes.
-
They look great!
Have you considered using a gloss varnish to liven up the sticky bits?
-
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I really enjoyed painting those hounds. I love when i get the chance for that style of painting: mixing & blending different colors directly on the miniature, it just 'feels' fun.
re: gloss varnish: I painted them for Darkson Designs: he wanted to use them for photos in an upcoming rulebook, and since I've had problems myself with photoing when there is gloss varnish (it reflects a lot & such) I figured it'd be better without anything making it look wet- easy enough for him to add it with some varnish if that works for him, but if not- better to leave without.
aggro: re:blog: thanks! I do enjoy upkeeping the blog. :D

Nice glint there in the eyes and lovely burnt flesh colours.
Something was nagging me about the sculpt though, got me thinking...
I have to say, looks like an update of the old Citadel Realms of Chaos Chaos Hounds:
