Figure I’ll start a new topic before I forget what I’ve painted this month…

These are looking really nice. I am not personally into the gangster theme, but I really like these. Job well done.

They are really nice - I really like that 'flat' style of painting.

Already shown elsewhere, but here's June's output (would have been more if I hadn't gone to Paris unexpectedly) (no regrets).

Awesome! Did you built the white painted fence?

Did you built the white painted fence?
No. All fences in that pic are Renedra plastics by Tim Adcock, also included in the Perry farmhouse kit. You get one mixed sprue, contents as seen in the November pic, in that. There's also a fence bag of two mixed sprues (approximately as seen here), and single type deals. You can get them from Renedra webstore (http://renedra.co.uk/webstore.html), Warlord (http://store.warlordgames.co.uk/general-purpose-177-c.asp), various eBay sellers, shows etc.
The picket fencing is indeed a good choice. I wouldn't want to scratch-build it, or true insanity might follow after eight inches or so.

What make are those stone walls? I'm in the market for some, and those look good.
My painting output for June... zip, nada and squat. Did some scenery, most of which is sitll in-progress at month's end, but barely put brush to figure this month. Post-LPL doldrums, perhaps.

They're self-made. I took a few WIP pics of the construction so I can possibly post a how-to at some point.
-
Wirelizard,
Those really look like some high status Hawaiian (Ali'i) compounds that I worked on at Honaunau on the Big Island a few years back. Right down to the petroglyphs.

Please do! Always looking for new ideas for stone walls and such, and yours do look good.

Not my work, they're Dolmot's, I just quoted his photo in my reply. Although I agree, they do remind me of the Hawaiian temple we visited in Oahu last year.

Here is the first of a new painting commission...yeah! The bases are inverted, hollowed out. The client wants to add reeds and resin water himself...ok by me. ;)

Nice miniatures all. The summer months really put a damper on the painting schedule. lol
