Hi
and welcome to the Triumph and Tragedy board.
„Triumph and Tragedy“ is a new set of tabletop wargame rules set in the period between 1900 and 1939. Our rules allow you to play games of various sizes, from small, colonial adventure scenarios to company-sized action.
Depending on how serious you want your games to be, you can go down „all historical“ or add a whiff of Pulp or two.
On this board, we´ll be able to post and discuss your questions and ideas concerning the T&T rules, scenarios, and more. In addition, the authors´ will post the latest news here, including info on the next releases, website updates and anything else T&T.
Greetings
Chris & Bjoern

The privilege of being a newbie is that you are allowed 3 newbie questions. I will use up my first one now:
Where do I queue if I want to buy a copy?
-
I will buy my copy this saturday at Crisis!
Really looking forward to it.

Cool! See you soon at Crisis!
-
Thank you, Driscole.
-
Good luck with the rules Bjorn. I hope they sell well :)
-
How much are you expecting to sell them for?
Euros will be OK, as I'll probably order my copy from Pardulon.
cheers,
Ian

Gluteus !
They will cost 13 Euro.

When will it be listed on the Pardulon site ?
-
Iam sure they will be listed as soon Zafarelli has recovered from the Antwerp trip to Crisis

I've just bought a copy from the Pardulon website!
All very quick & painless :)
Jens appears to have a good site set-up & the shipping cost from Germany to the UK seems very reasonable. Once my rules have arrived, I think I will be ordering more stuff from him. Oh my poor wallet
Looking forward to learning the rules and, one day in the far future, actually getting to play a game or two.
Cheers,
Ian

Darkest Africa, China, Russia, WW1 or else ?
Please keep us informed. Ideas and critics are welcome. But for the latter please sent a PM

Mainly Darkest Africa & Old West at present [ all 19thC so no sub-machine guns etc :( ]
I'm slowly acquiring figures suitable for "European" scenarios, so will eventually be able to play games in other locations. Hopefully I'll be able to use the rules for my existing figures, just omitting more modern weapons, vehicles etc.
I'll be getting some 20thC Pulp & "BOB" figures next year, so will be able to use the rules in full :)
All my gaming is solo at present - unsociable working hours, family responsibilities etc, so it will be interesting to see how your rules adapt.
Anyway, it should all be fun, judging by previous posts!
One day I'll get a digital camera & learn how to build a website
Cheers,

Ian,
the rules work fine for Darkest Africa. I did lots of DA test games.
We will definately write a DA supplement for T+T.

I am trying to track down a copy of the rules. I was able to download the doc for the German Civil War and it whet my appetite to try the rules. I have tried the vendors listed in previous posts, but I have have had no luck. Are the rules available in either hard copy or download now?
Thanks,
Nick Stern (the other Nick)
