Title: Ali's ViDe Soviet Late war army project WIP
Post by: ali the conqueror on 29 June 2011, 04:47:15 PM
Finally already hold my first soviet models (the bannnaahhh, ehemm I mean the banner bearer :p ) , was thinking to paint it based on mid war uniform (camo green). That said, this topic would focus on building my first ViDe armies (bit by bit) and hope it is not the wrong forum (as I bothered to check on other forum  :-[ ).
Suggestion : What paper you guys use for the banner? it's just some piece of paper from those kiddie's books? or some high quality paper that you often use on writing your final exam paper  ???

For flags I am using high quality inkjet paper.
After printing it doublesided on high res mode with my cheap inkjet printer I give the flag a good varnish.
Then glueing with watred down PVA glue, since the Flag is now water resistant you can bend it easily into any shape desired.

Looks like this:

Can't remember, but I doubt it would help you.
Just measure the length of the banner pole and you have 1 side of the banner covered...
