First of all I am sorry if I'm asking stupid questions BUT... I've been trying to find suitable trees for my fantasy battles a long time with no luck. There aren't any local hobby stores so no help from there. I know there are tons of manufacturers but unless I can get some to my own hands and compare them to the miniatures I am not sure if they are really suitable.
So.. I know some of you have 15mm scale miniatures and terrain so could you give me some hints about what size of trees and which manufacturers make the most suitable ones :) ?
And yes.. I know I could make them myself but I just don't have the time for everything :)

One word: Model railway shops.
Well, that's three (or four, depending on how you look at it) words - but that's the place to go. There's bound to be one somewhere in Finland? =)

Actually not near me. So it would be easier if someone already has suitable trees and can tip me about those.

How about Pendraken's trees?

They're very nice and the larger ones would certainly work for 15mm.

Ebay is also a good source for bulk 15-20mm trees! Not able to link however.

Many architectual model making suppliers list their trees by hight. I use 4D model shop (based in London) they can be a little pricey but I'd I remember correctly they have some less expensive ranges. They also carry a great deal of scatter materials, bushes, general lovely stuff.

Have a look at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/everestmodel (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/everestmodel)
I've been very happy with the ones for 6mm figures (though using them for 2mm) and you can select by height

If you do happen to know any of these model railway stores by name, I can check if there's anything to be found in Kuopio.

Don't worry so much about the right scale when it comes to trees. A small tree in 28mm is a bigger tree in 15mm. It only really becomes a prob with extremes... like a highly detailed big 28mm tree in a 2 or 6mm game.

Yep he's good.
If you're after palm trees then there's none finer than ebobs.

Thanks for all the answers! Now I am a lot smarter and know where to get my trees ;)

Useful bunch of answers chaps, thanks. I am just about to start up with Songs of Blades and Heroes and need some decent tabletop furniture.
