Today I have played Triumph and Tragedy for the first time, well just a couple of rounds. I found them really nice and I like the way how the turn sequence is resolved.
You decide yourself what the activation sequence is for your units, your opponent does the same. Both activates a unit. The unit with the highest initiative may start with their action, then the one with the lower initiative. Then the next units have their turn, also depending on initiative. So no fixed gameplay!
Not many miniatures are needed, 3 to 4 units with a total of 20/25 miniatures gives a nice game (these numbers were used in the demogame on Crisis today, a WW1 game called "Midnight Raid").
I would like to thank Björn and Christian for setting up such a nice game and designing these rules.
Now I must dicide what period I will use them for: WW1, RCW or Darkest Africa. I think the last one, that's the only one I have enough miniatures for at the moment (30 painted and 100+ unpainted :? ).
Sorry, I didn't took my camera so no pictures.

I´m glad you liked it! Were you the one that stopped my daring Sturmtruppen assault in its tracks by shooting me to pieces and then making Krautsalat out of the chargers in the trench?
;)

Yes, that was me!
Maybe that's the reason why I enjoyed the game so much

ANd to think he´s from the Netherlands! Would that make it Dutch Daring-Do?!?

I'll vote for batavian boldness.
I'm right into reading the rules and will post a critic later on.

Thanks DJ :)
And thanks to all who bought one copy.

Just curious, did it sell well?

I think it was a quite good start for a new comer.
We are not sold out yet
Besides how is reading ?
Cheers
