Tiny little blighters. Cute, but tiny. Ponies are usually about 150 cm to the withers (thanks wikipedia).
Or is the chap standing next to them about 280 cm tall? =D

They're shetland ponies.

They're shetland ponies.
Makes sense. =) That's the same rationale I'm applying to my old pre-slotta citadel and grenadier ponies. =D
Especially the right-most one looks like a shetland - short and stout. Nice ones!
-
They would make excellent mounts for Dwarven cavalry.

Very nice! Just love the convenient pose of the British Para btw!! lol

Picture is blocked at work....grrrrrr. I'll have alook tomorrow.

Hi, has anybody since cast them up? I am looking for 28mm steppe ponies for Mongols or Huns to ride...
-
One of these would make a nice Bill the Pony... :)
-
Has anyone seen whiffwaff recently?
He did have a fb page that then was removed etc. I was after some armed apes he did at one point.

Beautiful and very useful Pony's, indeed. Would like to know whta has happened to them :).

Did these not get picked up to be used with the WW I Dwarf range that was out not so long ago.I am sure they had a Soviet look to them and may have been sculpted by Bob Olley.
I thought it was these one's but they look to be different.
