Time is ticking down to September, so I've started back on my El Cid project to insure it gets finished.
These Caballeros(Common knights) are employing the overhead striking method of attack suitable for exploiting gaps quickly in the enemy's formations. For this reason their banner remains small for speed.
As with the entire El Cid project I used AP with highlights added, however I did completely hand paint the shields and banner. They received additional longer robes to further give that Spanish/Moorish flair.
I've also painted up a bishop for the unit(the one with the large cross) to give some inspiration to the Caballeros.
Thanks for viewing . :)

Thank you Folks. :)
Which rules are they for?
They are currently for WAB, but I will also use them later for Hail Caesar and Impetus with a few movement tray modi-factions.
Nice work. Are they Perry Miniatures?
They are a mix of Perry, Artizan, Crusader, and Conquest Games.
