Converted and rebased Horrorclix for Space Hulk or Near Future games.

Cool, I always wanted to do the same!
Maybe I should paint my Predators, we write up some SuperSystem stats for them and have a nice hunting party!

Really lovely. The bases are a triumph!
Presumably, you'd need to paint about 400 space marine figures to take on a dozen of these and stand any chance?

:)  I suppose so. I'll use Copplestone Assault MArines to go with them for Space Hulk, nobody get's me to paint 400 Space Marines

Really good job. I bought the Aliens box to do something like that when I have the time. In the meantime, I've used AT-47 Star Troopers as Space Marine Cannon Fodder to fight them. As they are prepainted, good to go.

Very, very nice. I second Major Simths request for painting info. I think you have got the look spot on. :)

Thanks guys! I've drybrushed them with Vallejo Dark Bluegrey and Basalt Grey but I think the gloss varnish is the important point. The bodies are semi gloss and the heads and tubes are very glossy.

Nice job. I was just looking at the alien and queen box this weekend on ebay debating about getting them. I was partially hesitant because of the aliens on the pillars. I like how you rebased them all.

Those are very nice. Very authentic. You did a great job with the glossy paints, they fit the genre perfectly!

Very nice - especially the blue sheen to the head and the bases. There's always hope for clickies - and these are the best proof I've seen yet  8)  8)  8)

I also re-based an re-painted a box of those Aliens. The sculpts are super and they are made of kinda-bendy plastic, so re-posing them was a dream. Really, really fun project. If you are an Aliens nerd of any kind do yourself a favor and get at least one box.

Freddy is cool, ditto for Jason...what about Leatherface?

God, it's me Mike...if you are recieving this please let them make a Leatherface...I'll start being good!

Nice site! After seeing your paint jobs on some of those West Wind figures I may actually go and buy 'em. They look pretty balls in the blister, but seem to paint up real nice.

I'd rather say if you paint them up nicely don't look pretty balls anymore. They are a mixed affair, some are brilliant, others are mediocre and they are usually a matter of taste.

In the past I've gotten a few of the monsters but steared away from the human models.  The monsters seem to suffer from being 'unfinished' looking, bits and blobs of putty not fully smoothed out under the arms and stuff like that...easy enough to fix or ignore. This is in no way a negative review as the price keeps all doors open.

That's actually true for many WW models.

True enough...I've been painting mostly Copplestone figs latley and they are so well done as to make all others a little pailer in comparisson. Speaking of that...I've got a couple of Dinos on my desk that I can hear calling to me...

Was it tough getting them off their clicky bases????  Do you have them pinned on the new bases?

Awesome work by the way - always wanted to do it!   :)

Also, a perfect post for Valentine's Day!

It's easy, just cut them of with a very sharp knife. Glueing the soft plastic with superglue is very easy and results in very tough joints.

Thanks guys!

Of course not. You'd have to be mad to do that  :)

Got myself the first box of Aliens a couple of weeks ago, and is about to do someting similar with them  8)
