Title: The Phantom
Post by: khde on 20 July 2011, 02:35:38 PM
Hi there,

I was wondering if there some good looking figures to play a session of the Phantom (DC Comics). I would also appreciate some notes on some appropiat rule sets as well.

Try the Paragon fig...

This one has a colt .45 added to one hand.

The Black Army Phantom is an excellent miniature.

Here is one I converted from a HeroClix Bullseye figure.

I've always hated his striped trunks, so I left them off my version.

Isn't there some version of The Phantom with a skull on his belt?
I don't mean a mini, I mean a cartoon.

The original Phantom artwork, created by Lee Falk (The Phantom's creator), had a skull on his belt buckle.

I do not seem to recall The Ghost Who Walks never having that skull on his belt.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Golden Age Destroyer...?

Although of course the original Lee Falk Phantom does have a skull on his belt buckle:

in the jungle with an almost-black leotard? That's a suicide!

Looks more like a Diving Suite... i wouldn't do that.

Heldrak, you may want to remove that pic and add a link instead.  Symbol violation in the lower right side.

Phantom 2040 had a skull belt (or at least the cartoon did): link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md0i8B_aPqk)

also, wasn't the thing that made him the Phantom his skull ring? kind of like Green Lantern and Thor, but without conveying super powers?

totally OT i know, but whilst looking for that vid, found the intro to The New Adventures of He-Man, which i had never seen before. my world is not a worse place to be...

The ring left a skull mark that couldent be removed when he hit the bad guys, he had two rings(Good mark and bad mark) Read alot of the comics in my youth.
